WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.20.11: what’s new?
WhatsApp is rolling out a new update through the Google Play Beta Program, bringing the version up to 2.22.20.11.

In the article about the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.10.11 update, we posted news about a new feature under development: the ability to create polls. Thanks to this feature, group participants will be able to share polls with other members of the group. It will be possible to add up to 12 options but this value may change before the release of the feature.
An entry point to open this section was still not available but thanks to the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.20.11 update, we discovered that this is exactly what WhatsApp is developing right now for the future:
As you can see in this screenshot, an entry point for the feature will be available within the usual chat action sheet where you can find all other media sharing options and it opens the section that we spotted during the development of WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.10.11. In addition, we can also announce that the same shortcut will obviously be available on a future update of WhatsApp Desktop beta and WhatsApp beta for iOS.
Note that, since this feature is under development, it is still not available to users but after installing this update, more beta testers may be able to manage who can see when they are online on WhatsApp, so be sure to update to this version if you still could not use this feature in the previous update!
As we just said, the ability to create polls is under development so we do not know when it will be released. As usual, we will post a new article when there is news in a new update.
