How is everyones battery life.... Mine is not so hot since the update yesterday
Same here. My phone used to heat up sometimes on ASD5, but since I installed it earlier today, it's running quite cool.

Also, fingerprint unlock is faster. Not by a huge amount, but it's a welcome change.
Overall UI / animations are smoother than ASD5.

Personally, i also see random apps freezing.. 2 or 3 times so far.. Not a full day since the update yet.
Also overall, i see some frames dropping in the over all smoothness..
I did clear the phone cache twice..
I think this update is NOT as smooth as April update, in the over all usage..
No comments on the battery yet, but it looks good..
I didn't have any heating problem before or now..
Am thinking about re flashing it, you never know.. But will try the BTU this time.. I know there is no difference, but i remember one this worked..

I flashed India firmware, and the freeze, and lag still happening... Like in Switzerland firm.

But i notice something, with stock launcher, lag disappear (i'm using TSF launcher).

Am using stock..
One thing i tried to change, and maybe it improved the over all experience.. I read in a deferent thread that turning off data usage for certain apps improves the battery, i did that few days ago by turning off the digital wellbeing data usage permission.. So now i re enabled it, and i think that the over all experience have improved if not as good as April update..
Its a matter of testing and tracing back any changes that you have done to your phone in the last few days that might have a conflict or stopped working properly after the update..
So try yourself..

Although everything seems to be smoother and faster to me, nova launcher did crash a few times. Never seen this before. Am trying cpl launcher and will observe. I really don't want to factory reset, and really hope these crashes stop happening...

Try clearing the cache in recovery and if that doesn`t help factory reset. Resetting realy makes a difference in my case.

This is what happens to me with the last update. Look on the status bar when the phone is unlocked. A black bar appears for an instant and then disappears. Only happens with screen off. If I unlock the phone with the screen on, do not happens

It happens when we slightly touch and lift the finger up almost immediately from the lockscreen. Unlocking used to fail this way with the previous builds. In this build, it unlocks with a flicker but does not fail or fail rate is significantly lowered.
The "issue" does not occur when we "rest" the finger for a millisecond and unlock- like how we have been successfully unlocking with all previous builds.
This is what I felt after trying in both this and the previous build several times.

I already cleard cache in recovery, but with cpl all seems to be stable. I really think everything is smoother, im not imagining this. Or do i? I guess this was a rather big update. Have to say I like the direction this is taking.

Hi all. My device is XTC and I really want to have this new update, and since it is not yet available in my country , is it safe to flash any region's firmware or will I loose network coverage if I do? Thanks in advance.

In this thread, you can discuss and share the Mega links of new firmwares (OFFICIAL STOCK) for the Galaxy S10+
    NO CUSTOM ROM's and/or ROOT-talk

How to flash the firmware to your phone:

    Odin.png

    1. Extract (un-rar) the firmware file (i.e. to folder c:\Odin) ***
    2. Download Odin v3.14.4
    3. Extract the Odin ZIP file (i.e. to folder c:\Odin)
    4. Open Odin v3.14.4
    5. Power OFF your S10+
    6. Reboot Phone in Download Mode (1st plug-in USB-cable to your S10+!!!), push Bixby + Volume Down buttons, while pushing them plug-in USB-cable to PC. Or use the command "adb reboot-bootloader".
    7. Wait until you get a blue sign in Odin
    8. Add the firmware files to their designated slots (AP in AP, BL in BL, CP in CP, HOME_CSC in CSC). USERDATA stays EMPTY!
    10. Click the start button, sit back and wait few minutes for the device to automatically restart.

*** You can always find the LATEST firmware in message #2
