Yeah, and it looks to be a slightly different version to the "Beta 2" that was previously available outside the UK.
Hi Steve,

Are you able to detail what these differences are?

Just that I'm on the 1st Beta 2 and thinking of rolling back to Oreo, so that I can get the OTA for this.

Not sure that it's worth the pain for what might be minimal gain.

What do you think, worth it?

The consensus in the Pie Beta thread seems to be that it only seems to be different in terms of version number, and the content is the same.

Im in the same boat. Only thing i can think off is Indian beta 2 broke volte. Uk beta may bring it back. Probably best waiting for official odin release of pie though, it won't be long

I got my Note 8 on a Vodafone contract just over a year ago. I rooted it to increase the audio volume so the knox flag has been tripped.

What would be the chances of getting the screen replaced under warranty (due to bad burn-in) with a tripped Knox flag?

I guess samsung would just tell me to go to hell but what about returning it to Vodafone themselves?

Has anyone managed to get a UK note 8 repaired that has been rooted?

thanks - Keith

EC laws, rooting don't void warranty, that's my understating.

Those who ordered from samsung, UKMail don't collect packages until afternoon - evening so check again later tonight ;) they work deliverys first and then collections last.
My guess is they haven't been scanned/collected yet. Once it's scanned the tracking will work.

Edit: When you book a collection with them it generates a consignment number but will not be active until scanned.

Also they work to a 1 hour time window for collecting and delivering parcels. They can't psyically scan a package unless they are in that time window already decided. Everything is automated.

(I work in dispatches at my company and know delivery company's well from regular chats with the drivers & sending out shipments)

    Hi All,

Anyone know why us in the UK are not getting any update? Check out there on the web and other regions got an update on the 3rd December.

    Brexit mate.

Seems Note 8 BTU updates are like London Busses, you wait forever for one to arrive and when they do you get two :)

Sorry if this is off topic, but it's bugging me so much.

In so many threads on XDA I'm seeing people 'verbally' thanking others for their help, but nobody seems to be hitting that thanks button.

Seriously folks, it's just good etiquette, that if someone has helped you, HIT THE THANKS BUTTON.

Sorry for shouting, but I believe it needed to be heard.
